Nolan Matthews Retirement Function 2-1Mr Nolan Matthews retired from his employment at the WCCPA after 42 years of dedicated service. Mr. Matthews was the driver and general administrative assistant. During his tenure at the WCCPA he was best known for his collection of the public donations in the WCCPA Suzy Dolls.

The dolls are located in retail stores in the Western Cape including areas as far as Hermanus and Ceres. He was also responsible for the collection of donations for all the WCCPA fundraising initiatives.

When the CP Clinic acquired a vehicle and started providing transport for children who had to come to the CP Clinic with their buggies and wheelchairs, Mr. Matthews provided this service for children from all areas of Cape Town.

At a function hosted in his honour, the WCCPA Chairperson Mr. Noor Osman thanked Mr Matthews for dedicating 42 years to the organisation and commended him for his passion, commitment and integrity with which he carried out his duties. Mr Matthews was joined at the function by longstanding staff members including those who have retired.
