Our Open Day today which was part of our CP awareness week campaign was a wonderful success.. thank you to everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to come and learn about Cerebral Palsy and the work the Western Cape Cerebral Palsy Association does.

Everyone met at De Heide Special Care Centre – First Avenue, Claremont, at 09:00 for tea/coffee and a biscuit, followed by an information session about CP and the WCCPA by our Director: Mrs Gadija Koopman thereafter a walk about through the De Heide Centre…

Everyone then took a walk across to The Village Work Centre also in First Avenue, Claremont, for an information session about the work that they do. People were afforded an opportunity to see the workers at work!

Thereafter everyone was transported to Rosedon House & Our Hope at 11 Rosedon Road, Rondebosch East.

After an information session about Rosedon House and a walk about of the facility refreshments were served. Thereafter everyone was transported back to De Heide Special Care Centre.

Our guests also had the opportunity to meet and greet Suzy. Suzy has been part of the WCCPA since its inception and is the face of the Association.
