Our staff and beneficiaries engaged in various awareness raising campaigns during CP Week; from an interview on Expresso to interviews on CCfm and Radio 786.
Presentations were made to schools, parents of school leavers, social workers and occupational therapists on how to access our services when learners graduate from LSEN Schools (schools for learners with special education needs).
Cavendish Square was generous enough to sponsor us with a table which allowed our staff to engage with shoppers (we couldn’t send our beneficiaries along because of inclement weather conditions) but nonetheless, the table received a lot of attention.
The children and staff of De Heide Special Care Centre “marched” around Harfield distributing pamphlets; it was such a lovely sunny day; the kids had a ball of a time!
