For the month of July (Mandela month) the Western Cape Cerebral Palsy Association [WCCPA] will host a donations-in-kind ‘drive’ for the benefit of children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities:
• The Cerebral Palsy Clinic (at Red Cross Children’s Hospital) which provides specialised therapy for babies and children with cerebral palsy.
• De Heide Special Care Centre which provides educational and therapeutic programmes for 28 children with profound disabilities
• Rosedon House which is a residential care facility and is ‘home’ to 49 adults with disabilities who are unable to live independently.
• The Village Work Centre which is a protective work centre providing job opportunities for adults with disabilities.
We will be delighted to receive food items, stationery and toiletries.
Donated items can be delivered to The Village Work Centre at 11, 1st Avenue, Claremont. Collection can also be arranged if required.
If you would like to be part of our Mandela month initiative and wish for further details, please call 021 685 4150 or email [email protected]
We look forward to hearing from you.
